How do you make your money?+
The supplier pays us a commission, included in your unit rate as a small uplift. You don't pay us a fee. We'll show you the figure before you sign — see How we're paid for a worked example.
Why use a broker instead of going direct?+
Time and pricing. We do the comparison, the paperwork and the renewals for you, and we know which suppliers price well for businesses like yours. The supplier's price is the same either way — the difference is our uplift, which we disclose.
Who do I actually have a contract with?+
Your energy contract is directly with the supplier — a fully licensed energy company — exactly as if you'd gone to them yourself. We arrange it, but we're not party to it, and you pay the supplier directly.
What happens when my contract is ending?+
We track your renewal window and come to you before your contract ends, so you choose your next deal on your terms instead of rolling onto expensive out-of-contract (deemed) rates.
Will switching disrupt my supply?+
No. It's the same wires and pipes — nothing physical changes and there's no interruption. Switching supplier is just a change of billing contract.
Is there any cost to me?+
No upfront cost and no fee. The review is free, and we're only paid — via the supplier — if you go ahead with a contract we arrange.
What's a Letter of Authority?+
A short form that lets us request quotes and information from suppliers on your behalf. It doesn't tie you into a contract, and it doesn't let us sign one for you.
Are you regulated?+
Energy brokers aren't licensed the way suppliers are. But we're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office for data, and we're a member of [the Energy Ombudsman / your ADR scheme], which gives you an independent route if you're ever unhappy.
